Last year I believe my work to be sub par. My video contained limited shot types, low effort mis-en-scene, poor acting and overall horrible execution of the most boring and incoherent storyline ever to be conceived by man. Notwithstanding my previous statement, I believe my editing to have been alright considering the poor materials provided. Nonetheless I believe that this experience has been a learning curve, and will improve upon the areas mentioned, additionally finishing all coursework this year, opposed to my feeble effort last term. I had prior experience editing when I enrolled, thus potentially making editing my strongest area, and I believe with practice on this alien software (Adobe Premier Pro) I have the potential to make a well edited music video, especially considering I am also a music student. Moving away fro the main task, my shot types video was an atrocity, and will be avoiding any such idea shown in said video. Despite my reluctance last year, thus far I have completed many tasks within this first month, which I believe to be a somewhat rapid pace, per se.
The technology I am to use will be the cameras provided by the school, additionally the macs, but for a few different purposes. Their primary function is to access Adobe Premier Pro, and create my piece; their secondary being to record the song itself. To do this I'll also have to use various instruments and microphone, and the software logic.Upon seeing my work, my teacher gave me feedback:
For analysis clearly have sections for the four media techniques,
Make sure all posts have relevant images and the text is broken up into paragraphs
And relevant examples to back up theories and terms are also needed.
Attempting to improve my work off the back of sir's feedback I have made the relevant changes necessary.
