EditingShots are no longer than 3 seconds each, the longest edits being that of title sequences saying things like "Inner City" or "Vs Outer Space", implying this is quite a fast paced movie, in the sense that it's action packed.
Mis-en-scene
Actors are all dressed in track suits and hats. Dialogue in the trailer contains what appears to be the language of the young working class english people, the type one would associate with deviancy. This tells me its target audience is young British people. As far as advertising goes, it both features Nick Frost, a popular actor, and contains the words "From the producers of Shaun of the Dead". Frost was in Shaun of the Dead too, which was also a very popular sci-fi comedy movie, and potentially their way of saying the film, much like Shaun of the Dead, will be good. The title and release date of the film is shown towards the end of the trailer, as to entice the viewer into watching the entire trailer.
Sound
As for music, it generally tends to cut in moments of suspense or comic relief. The non-diagetic music tends to accent either on explosion or when text appears on the screen. The alien is also only makes a few appearances, but is not on screen long enough to establish what it actually looks like.
The structure of the trailer starts out with weird music and a lot of things not making sense, then as we progress through the trailer it paints a picture of what is happening, and eventually ending with the films title and release date.
