Filming Risk Assessment

With every activity comes risks, and to prevent any accidents one must assess them in order to smoothly carry out the required tasks. There are to be two locations based indoors in my video, both of which are on private land. To minimise this risk I will ask permission of the house owner and the figure of authority in said classroom. These risks affect everybody.

There may be things on the floor in Daniels house, which is one of the locations, so before filming I must check nothing is out of place, specifically in his bedroom, as we will be filming at night. A character may trip over or damage themselves since it will be dark. The people at risk from this task is the character that will be in the bedroom, and the camera man. This is a low risk.

For an outside location we will be filming near a body of water. This is a medium low risk - the area we will be filming in lacks a stone pathway of any sort, and considering it's winter it will be raining a lot. Because of this, people could slip over on the path and potentially in the river. As a precaution we will not be recording after it has rained, and we will stay as far away from the water a possible. This would be about a medium risk to everyone.
